About EHRRI

Electronic Health Records of Rhode Island (EHRRI) is a unique collaboration
of five Rhode Island-based physician organizations that have joined forces to facilitate the adoption and use of a single EHR product by physician practices
in the State.

Our objectives are to:

• Reduce the costs of EHRs via volume discounts
• Simplify interconnectivity, support, training, and interfaces by
  promoting the implementation a single EHR product
• Build local service and training components for EHRs
• Develop uniformity of reporting for pay for performance (P4P)
• Provide leadership and build relationships with other physicians
  and groups pertaining to EHRs.

• Kent PHO
• Lifespan/Physicians PSO
• Thundermist Health Center
• Women and Infants’PHO

Additional funding support for EHRRI has come from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. Together, our founding members represent nearly half the doctors in the state and we’re pleased to report that there’s strength in numbers. Through this unique joint venture, we’re able to negotiate the highest quality EHR system at the best possible price. We also have the resources in place to ensure the necessary technical support, training, and security is readily available to help make purchasing, implementation and ongoing maintenance as seamless as possible.
